All countries participating in the Wheelchair Tennis World Championship, which will be held in May at the Ramat Hasharon Tennis Center, have been determined.
The following will participate in the men’s tournament – ‘Open’ degree of disability:
- The countries that finished in the top ten places in the 2018 tournament: Japan, Great Britain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Argentina, Spain, South Korea, Poland and Brazil
- The countries that finished first in the qualifying tournaments on different continents: the United States in America, South Africa in Africa, Sri Lanka in Asia and Austria in Europe
- Israel and China who received a free ticket
The following will participate in the women’s tournament:
- The countries that finished in the top eight places in the 2018 tournament: the Netherlands, China, Great Britain, France, Japan, Switzerland, the United States and Brazil
- The countries that finished first in the qualifying tournaments on different continents: Colombia in America, South Africa in Africa, Thailand in Asia and Russia in Europe
The following will participate in the quad tournament (the most difficult level of disability):
- The countries that finished in the top six places in the 2018 tournament: Australia, Israel, United States, Great Britain, Japan and Canada
- South Africa and Brazil
The following will participate in the Junior tournament:
- The countries that finished in the top four places in the 2018 tournament: Russia, Brazil, Colombia and Australia
- the Netherlands, Great Britain, the United States and Turkey
